For a year Daniel Avens and his producer, Severin Zellner (Orange Ease Recorders) have been tweaking and polishing the album. Now it's finally done and Daniel's first singe "Cold Runnels" is publicly available. The whole record will be available for purchase in the fall of 2022. Music that was meticulously and perfectionistically recorded on tape in the studio belongs on a real record. For the time being there will be 300 pieces to buy.
I had the honor to shoot the music video together with Daniel and Severin. The result is a film that makes many cinema nostalgics smile and in no way outranks the music. The story tells of a young adventurer who sets out for the last time on the journey to his fortune. This much is revealed. But watch the film yourself and let yourself be seduced by the music and the pictures into other worlds.
