Christian Böhm and Martin Säckl from Plasticfreepeaks are not only committed to clean mountain peaks. Since their childhood, the two are enthusiastic fly fishers and therefore want to protect the natural river habitat.
We should listen more often to the experiences and life lessons of our grandparents when it comes to dealing with nature in a fair and sustainable way. Today's world has become too fast and hurried for many things. One has no more time to wrap one's head around everything and to question everything. If you are lucky enough, like Martin Säckl, to have been taught a craft by your grandfather, then that is something very special. Knowledge that no money in the world can buy and experiences that only become really valuable when you share them with family or friends. This film is meant to be a portrait of the relationship between us as humans and nature, as well as the personal relationship between Martin and his grandfather.
