Nona Büchele has already laid the foundation for her own project Allgäu Locals during her graphic design studies in Dornbirn. Together with Leonie Stüken, she has been maintaining the online magazine with individual image and text content since 2019. Above all, social media plays an important role in the dissemination of content of all kinds. Nona and Leonie quickly abandoned the initial idea of revealing secret tips and places. Today, it is more about showing how young people from the Allgäu perceive their own home and what potential the region has. Young, sustainable and innovative companies are given a unique and far-reaching platform in the online magazine.

The film portrait was part of my master thesis at the Free University of Bolzano, Faculty of Design and Art. The master's program Eco Social Design is primarily about standing up for a more sustainable and social future and rethinking social structures. My contribution to this eco-social transformation process is the inspiration, presentation and networking of pioneering projects through audiovisual contributions. Film, editing and sound in combination always manage to tell exciting stories and portray interesting personalities.
