Vivere il Parco is a semester project created in the Master "EcoSocial Design ". Faced with the problem of an empty and unattractive park in the city center of Bolzano, new concepts and ideas were to be created to breathe new life into the park. Many of the direct neighbors did not feel further comfortable and use the park only as a shortcut between the theater and the city center. The approximately 30 students of the first semester (including myself) were asked to rethink the concept of the park and its life in smaller teams of 2-3 people. Various concepts were developed, ranging from communication design, product design, graphics, etc.:
The Capuchin Park is to be redesigned. However, it is not only about purely material renovation work, but above all about a revitalization of the park and a use by the various residents of the neighborhood and the visitors of the surrounding institutions, such as the Municipal Theater, the Centro Trevi, the Vincentinum and several schools, and many other people.
During the winter semester 2018/19, the 23 students of the Master Eco-Social Design researched, experimented and designed in the Capuchin Park and its surroundings. The results were presented in an exhibition at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano on January 18/19. 2019 presented and discussed. They want to suggestions for a good life in the park and around around it.
